Alaskan Summer Light

Zoe is a natural. Her face was meant to be black and white. She had some fantastic dresses which were great for the open fields and mountains at her house. She also happened to have an old red barn falling down, perfectly picturesque. Zoe was great to work with and knew how to move her body with little direction. I can't wait to shoot her again for a personal model shoot in a few weeks, but her senior photos are gorgeous. Thank you so much Zoe for the wonderful shoot!

Tim Rockey!

Tim is all about baseball. Knowing this I had a certain image I wanted to create for Tim's senior photos. But with the Alaskan light always being so bright and high in the sky, in order to get the image we had to get up at 5 am. But, the early morning paid off and the light was absolutely spectacular. Tim's did a wonderful job and was a great sport about waking up so early. Thanks so much Tim!

A Vision in White

Last week I had the pleasure to photograph my very first wedding of Lizzie and Evan Parson. Not only was it a pleasure to photograph this amazing couple but the ceremony was beautiful and during all the preparation for the wedding I have become friends with the bride Lizzie. She was stunning and absolutely glowed the entire day. It was an amazing experience for me to be part of such a wonderful thing and I hope for the best for this new couple. Thank you Evan and Lizzie!

New Logo!

Finally I was able to come up with a new logo for i take photos! It took me a very long time and I went through a lot of different ideas, but finally I decided on this! Hope you all like it!

Lizzie and Evan

Lizzie and Evan are going to be my first wedding this summer! So before their wedding I got together with them to do engagement photos. They are the sweetest couple, you can really tell they belong together. It just makes me even more excited for their wedding in a few weeks!

Rachael Darling

These are a few shots I took for a class. My friend Rachael had spare time to model between classes and finals. She has the most beautiful eyes and longest eyelashes. It was a fun, quick shoot.

A Final Farewell

I'm about to leave wonderful Oregon and go back home to Alaska. But before I left my dear friend, and one of the first I made here at college, Janae modeled for me on her farm in Forest Grove. Not only was the light incredible, but Janae is stunning. It was a nice goodbye for Janae and I, especially since she will be attending a different college in the fall. Thanks Janae, you're wonderful dahling =]
