New Things!

I finally picked up a new teapot that doesn't leak and actually whistles. Also a new shower curtain that isn't plastic and bright yellow. And they're both adorable. It's nice to really start finding cute things for the apartment-it's starting to get better and with spring it also just feels so much better here downtown. For my birthday I also got a nice collection of dishes from a good friend along with new pots and pans from my grandma. My kitchen collection is fantastic and growing.

Already Slacking

I'm already falling behind on trying to post every week. This is from a few weeks ago, I was house sitting for my uncle and two of my good girl friends came with me and we watched the sunset with strawberries on top of Mt. Tabor here in Portland. It was beautiful, warm, and sunny all day and was a good way to start off our night before pizza, too much junk food, and a scary movie.

Basic Drawing

My friend Janae took some great pictures in my last drawing class. We worked on blind contour drawings with charcoal, and developed into some ink drawings where we were able to peak at our pictures. We also used each other as our drawing models which was difficult trying not to laugh at our drawings while also trying to pose.
