Rachel&Micah

This was a very special wedding. I've known Rachel and Micah since middle school, and even then the two had some kind of chemistry between them. To see these two getting married was wonderful. They had such obvious love for each other. While out in the cold taking pictures, I asked why they chose to get married in December, and they both said they just couldn't wait any longer. I kept having to tell Micah to look at the camera instead of Rachel, and he couldn't stop telling her how beautiful she looked. To have a couple like this that was so comfortable with each other and in love its hard not to get a good picture. Thank you so much to both of you for letting me be involved in your wedding and capture such a beautiful day! Rachel you looked stunning, best wishes and congratulations on your new life together!

Gloves

Rachel is the sweetest bride! She and I are both members on Pinterest (omg, addiction) and she saw that I had liked this pair of photographer mittens. They have a button hole on the right hand so your index finger can slip out for the shutter button. She had her friend MAKE them for me since she knew I'd be shooting her pictures in the cold! It was so sweet and they worked so well, I love them! Thanks so much Rachel. Pictures from her wedding to come shortly!

Christmas Mountain

Most of you know, since I never stop talking about it, that this and last Christmas I've worked at Christmas Mountain tree farm. Its magical. This year they let me take some family photos while working there and it was fun. Everything is always fun at the farm despite the cold, its too beautiful and happy to not be in love with the place! Troy and Jennifer do a fantastic job running the farm and I just wanted to put out a thank you to them for letting me work there. I hope I can come back up to the farm next year. Check out Mr. and Mrs. Christmas!

Frank, Our Christmas Tree

Frank is our tree, he is a short fat little Noble, I love him, homemade pennants and all. He even has a cute giant bow on top.

Zoo Lights

This was awesome. The Oregon zoo decorates every year to create an entire animal world out of lights. And it basically became and excuse for me to walk around taking blurry pictures with my new filter. I loved it. There are also a few shots testing it with portraits, David posed with Tiffany and I think its adorable.
