Charles

My friend Nisreen had been looking for a little orange kitten a few months back, and I happened to find one in Portland. He is so handsome and adorable, and he has gotten huge! I took a bunch of photos the last week I was in Eugene, and I love the comparison of him then and now so I just wanted to share a few. He is just so funny and cute.

Gray's Anatomy

Last year I started up a project using medical illustrations and placing them onto actual bodies. After using David and myself as models I wasn't able to get enough people together and the project was postponed indefinitely. Today I was able to get Channi to be my patient model and start up the project again. It was amazing, I changed materials and tactics to the project, she sat for two hours while I painted layers of bone and muscle onto her back. They result is incredible and I absolutely love it!

Church in the woods

It was time for another Channi and Cat adventure. Yesterday we headed up to visit Christmas Mountain for the end of season party and arrived a bit early. So we walked past the property to an old church I had seen before but hadn't really been able to explore. It was Amazing-I am so glad we had extra time to check it out because it was totally worth it. The light inside was beautiful, the warped walls had pink and blue paint that was just so beautiful, the vines were coming in through the windows and in the middle of checking the place out it started to snow. It was just a beautiful place to be as it was totally silent and the snow started falling outside. I think it provided a good artistic release for the week and I am hoping to also pull a few paintings out of the pictures!

New Little Moo Cards

After my new logo design I decided I should get new cards, plus with I have a new website and they needed updating. I had seen these mini business cards in a few places and I loved them so much. I found them finally through a place called Moo and they are Perfect! My cards were ready by the time I got back from break and I adore them. They are beautiful and just what I wanted. I can't wait to hand some out but here are a few pictures so I can show them off to you!
