Wedding Bliss

Patty and Ryan are an amazing couple. They radiate happiness and work so well together, even within the short time I had around them I could feel it. Patty's younger brother Sean, who performed the ceremony, is a good friend and also had his senior shoot with me. Patty and I met just the day before their wedding where we did a short engagement shoot around Palmer, her home town. The wedding took place the next day at the Agate Inn, where the weather held off and set a beautiful day for their wedding. We also ran over to Wasilla lake to get a few wonderful shots of the couple. Patty had a gorgeous dress and was such a pleasure to get to meet. Her and Ryan are going to have such an amazing life! Congratulations to both of you =]

The Owl, The Pussy Cat, and A Pea Green Boat

Now back in Portland, of course the best thing to do is see a concert. We had the opportunity to go with our good friends out to McMinnville to see The Butchers and the Builders. I have been hearing about this group since I missed a concert with Becca years ago. The show was amazing and the energy was phenomenal. It was well worth the wait. Along with the Butchers played Pancake Breakfast, I newer band that I instantly fell in love with. They will be releasing their first album September 25 at Doug Fir (so everyone over 21 should go for me). They had an amazing energy and vibrance even with only three members of their band playing. Everyone should definitely look up both bands, they're more than worth it!
